the SL8 is a civilian rifle, there is a upscaled version called SL9 (7.62 subsonic) but it is only meant for police use. but yes, the bundeswehr only uses the G3 SG1 and some MSG3 (a quite strange bastard between G3 SG1 and MSG90)
