does the BF2 engine allow animated doors, can collision meshes be animated, can the engine forbid to get inside a vehicle when the door is not open, what would happen if the driver die inside and the door would be closed how would anybody get inside?, hehe I think it wouldnt be that simple. But Im no expert for the BF2 engine...

Now I make a little break and Im gonna finish the CF LAVIII.

Unless you somehow did the interior, I don't really think it is necessary to have a door. (You could make it operable by a passenger who would just press w or s though.)

One question I have though, is that grenade launcher in the back for show or will it be operable by a crew member? In the actual Puma, it has both 76mm HE and smoke and can be manipulated to fire at targets.



It's a pretty cool adaptation that would really make this a unique vehicle (and not a sitting duck in urban combat). I hope it wouldn't be too much work though, in the end, it's your model.

If there would a video how it works, how it aims, but I didnt see nothing on the web. It could be used as smoke... activated by a button and its raining fire.

doors can open for example the merlin! how you will die inside without getting blowed up?
the moddel should start with a open door. i dont think it would make such a problem

Heh, I am going to pass on the back door being able to be open. In the end, people wont be useing the door, e could just let them out.

How about for the driver, he could switch between smoke grenades or HE grenades?

And if anyone finds a picture of a PUMA IFV with a turret mounted missile launcher, plz post it

Picture this. A Puma drops a squad off in an alley.

"Oh crap, a tank! Pop smoke!"

But oh no, he forgot to switch the launcher from HE to smoke. The squad is dead and so is the puma. Very sad.

I think it might be better if the explosive mortars were controlled by a passenger encouraging the transportation of squads and not just using them as firing platforms. Again, we still don't know how exactly that turret rotates so we are kind of stuck just guessing. (And I don't really like the option of just leaving them off. I mean a 76mm close quarters mortar is a pretty big selling point to just omit.)

E-Cookie and my undying love for whoever can show me a video or diagram with how that thing rotates.
