Its around 5500 tris so if i added the holes then that would add on a lot more tri's that arent really needed. When ur in-game u wont notice it in 1st person so it doesnt really need to be modeled. The texture artist can simply paint it on there. Its black holes anyway so u wouldnt notice it if it was modeled or not. Understand what im trying to say?

Great work but should be the front of the barrel round? As seen on chopsticks screen it looks more like a ball but yours looks more like an egg.

in the devs journal placeable heavy mgs are shown, so that would also be a quite good use for the MG3 (for Germans and MEC)

I posted a thread asking of the devs would like to use the MG3 for MEC and no responses back. I am going to assume their answer was no.

Its still under consideration, however since its not at a stage where its ready for use, no assurances can be made.
