douh, i thought they would have done one, but till now they have unfortunatly only a MG34, so i think we have to do it by our self

Hmm, even though I have little time it would be a pretty sweet job for me.
Its got plenty of challange.
Its pretty much the only weapon of the danish armory I'm missing.
And if I one day decide I want to make a WW2 mod - I can use it with very little modifications.

Also it will sort of earn me my "title" I have somehow gotten by mistake :/

If noone else takes it within a short amount of time, I'll strongly consider taking it.

(note: this was not a promise)

there is nearly no difference between mg42 and mg3.
except that mg42 is an old weapon from ww2 xD
the mg3 shows the same design with the same air-cooling-system. i think another difference is that the mg42 always jammed and overheated, the mg3 fixed this all...i think

MG3 is mainly a caliber limitation. After WW2.

And slower RPM .. but it is done with a heavyer breechblock ( man had to search for this word ^^ ) so you wouldn't see it on the outside ..

though there is a difference in the shaping of the weapon between the MG42 and the MG3 in the area of the barrel, but you can only see it when you look at it in detail, so should not matter much for the model

The MG3 fires around 1100 rpm, and the MG42 was 1200 IIRC
