Well, everyone can google "danke", many probably know it without, just like most of us would understand a few french or spanish or italian words, so the "danke" is totaly justified :P

i know there are some german words widely understood, some examples:
kindergarten
bunker
heil
panzer
(add what you want)

Maxfragg I ain't talking in German on here... It frazzles my brain enough trying to scrape an a-level in the language . Although kudo's guys on the fast work, can't wait to see all this in game...

you're right, its quite confusing changing between languages all the time, but you get used to it, when your chatting with 4 peoples at the same time and with 2 of them in german and 2 of them in english

Develop a mix. It's what i've done with my mate in class. You just speak in either language picking and choosing words from either one. Now that's fun and is impossible for other people to understand pretty much...
