Yeah, but they are more effective than most people realize at medium range and used in the right way.

Although I probably shouldn't admit this, my inspiration for the Spec Ops was "All ghillied up" in CoD4. I'm hoping they will act a little bit more like special forces (in conjunction with the snipers) than the OMGWTFPWN CQB gods that their are now.

And I see you were talking about the red beret. I was a little confused by that.
Yea, was talking about the EU light soldier pic above, and as prolly the special operations and medics would get this uniform, i said it would not help hiding^^

However,

No offensives, the idea is good and interesting. But the fact still stands bf2 ghille still are next to ineffective in helping the player sneak past enemy players. And in urban combat, are they still going to still use ghille ? But I think its still best to try this idea out and see what happens and did u contact rambo hunter and tell him 2 do 2 EF reskins?
I guess it will still be better than nothing. When hiding in high grass it can be useful, and when there is nothing to hide behind, well, it doesnt really matter if you got a normal uniform or the ghille suit.

Even in the desert there is a bush or two, and some grass, so that could still be possible. And like i said, even if there is nothing to hide behind, it wouldnt matter what you're wearing, as long as it is not red xD

interesting idea with the suits for spec ops.

i think it would be good just to take the US Spec Ops model, and reskin him to flektarn, because really, that Cap just screws BW.

isnt there a possibility of making a new ghillie suit with more twigs and better adaption to the each level (make the ghillie suit in the same clour mainly used in the specific level)

maybe the player who takes the SF or Sniper-Kit can choose between two different types of ghillie suit, one is for example for mountainious regions and the other is for desert (z.B. in Kashan Desert). for example when you choose Sniper-Kit in the kit-menu it appears another menu where you can choose first or second ghillie... this would solve the problem because there would be always at least one good ghillie for each level. is this possible ?

no, not possible, different ghillesuites for each level are ofcause possibe, you just need a objects_client.zip in each maps folder with the skin
