Suggestions for small arms

Hello Esteemed PR team. let me tell that iam proud of you and honoured by your work sofar but i do have many things to tell you that you could improve for the next patch/release

G3A3
primary weapon for MEC

Damage outpout per projectile - Realistic

Rate Of Fire - Realistic

Projectile Velocity - Realistic

Recoil - Unrealistic
Reason: too much

this weapon got far too much recoil than it should be lowered to that so it is perfoming like the m16A2 or M4 = smoother blowback

this is an analysis i have made
as i some days ago took my own army version of the G3 and testfired
the recoil i faced then was merely there, just an almost unnoticable risening of the gun

you want to know why the G3 only has an 20 round magazine, well it was all to lower the recoil and yet they were still able to increase it's calibre therefore the 20 round magazine is the main of todays G3s

now for an other weapon,
the M16A2

Damage Outpout per projectile - too high

Rate of Fire - could be increased a little

Projectile Velocity - could be increased

Recoil - nothing much to say here Meh you can increase it if you have to adjust it, not by much then

The AKs are sofar good as they are but you must keep in mind that the first AK the AK-47 had an effective range of 300-400 meters

as coming to the british
SA80 / L85 is perfect

the PPSh-41 has 71 drum magasines and can switch firemodes from auto to semi automatic and also should be a bit more powerful and it does have an effective range of up to 200 meters

also for US i suggest you add an new vehicle the M2A3 Bradley
and it would need this setting, 2 Crewmans, 1 driver and one Gunner

it is also custom for many Tanks to now have 30 HEAT and 30 AP shells

and i got an update that MEC will use, an all new Russian tank
the Black Eagle Tank

and the US Also need to have the M113 in as it is still widely used by US and Coalition Forces

I would like to suggest, and I know i am new to the forums, though I have had privledge (sp?) to play PR since .4, and that is to incorporate either rocket or mini gun LBs, or even Cobra's on Jabal. Also Hueys with added M60 guns on all maps that have hueys incorporated would be a plus.

The reason i state this, is because of the AA whether is man pad or stationary AA which is incorporated in the map, and it would be the USMC a smaller plus/tweak when assaulting from either beach. I feel that the MEC should be given the same amount of armor that is already given to them, same with the APCs for the USMC, but with the rugged mountainous landscape and the lack of defenses for the huey which crashes pretty hard, it might make the map a bit more exciting.

The Cobra's could spawn at the get go, and have 20 min intervals, that way they are not constantly spawning etc.....

I'm pretty sure the MEC is a fictional faction, so what do you mean you heard that they will be using that tank?

1) G3A3 and the M16A4 fire different bullets meaning the more power in the back off the bullet the more the recoil.

2) M16A4 is the current gun for USMC. The 5.56 bullet travels faster than the bigger 7.62 bullet.

3) I consider an AK a carbine seeing that the rear sights aren't on the receiver, and it fires a smaller cartridge(the 7.62x39mm)

4) The PPSh-41 is an old WW11 gun so it can't be that accurate also considering that it is a submachine gun.

5) The M2A2 is going to be in 0.8 for the new US Army faction.

6) I think the T-90 is modern enough for the MEC for now.

7) Meh, We are getting the new Stryker.

the PPSh-41 is from WW2 and my explanation of the G3 is accurate

you also have to put into account that the G3 you have is cleaned regulary etc, the G3's that the MEC forces have are from the black market and most likely might not be kept to the same degree that you keep your G3......remember Many AK's that are in use are actually copies of AK's and same with G3's i really don't think H&K would sell directly to The Middle Eastern Coalition, they most likely received their weapons through arms dealers or secret arms embargo's. The T-90 fits, just look at what was confiscated and used during the First and second gulf war.

Last time I looked MEC was supposed to be a professional army. They might get their weaponary via arms dealers but I doubt they buy worn out second hand cheap copies and I'm sure they know how to keep their weapons functional (as in regularly cleaning them).
