the best way to tank is to flank enemy tanks that are sitiing on hill's instead of trying to engage then directly,
Go arround the map(there is a lot of space fo flank) then go betwen the enemy mainbase and where they are attacking, you will find a lot of tanks looking at the other way that will be easy kills I love Qiling 64, sadly i cannot run it on my server (linux) but once in a while i join servers running it just to drive a tank |

I completely disagree with the OP. Quinling is possible the best map out there along with Kashan. And no, i dont use air assets that often

Planes in online fps = fail
Maybe when maps are 10 times bigger and we have 256 slot servers it might be good. Untill then, Im off to a another server. (or another game, IL-2 if I feel like flying) and Quinling is too laggy, maybe if you redesign the whole map with optimization in mind and replace the planes with choppers, it could be good. I agree with ppl saying "this map s***s, put has potential". |

Only problem with Qinling is the unbalanced british assets such as the Challenger 2/Eurofighter.
I also had someone tell me that the brits only start to bleed after they lose farm outpost whilst the chinese start bleeding after the brits cap mine+village. |

There is a small col issue with the CR2, that is it and that is the only reason why it seems to take more damage than other tanks. the fact is it has the same HP and same power as other tanks. In fact anouther small col issue being the turret has a col mesh where all other tanks dont in fact gives it a disadvantage for alot of the time over the other tanks. If you look at my SS in the post before you see me and squid got 65 kills basically all in a PLA Tank and most of them where taking out CR2s. you make me sick saying that you think its cos the devs are all britis and think we have only made this mod so the brits can win every map? around only 1/3 of the dev team are brits I think you should know and we never make anything cos its super cool. If we thought that we would have put the Javelin AT missile in PR ages ago but the fact is in its current state back then it was super over powered so we did not and we sould have also not bothered making the QBZs and G3s for the other teams etc.. Qinling is balanced, PLA do win 1/2 the time on the map, thou there is a few small asset balances that do make it a little un fair, epically the EF2000 vs the J-10 but thous imbalances dose not have that much of a huge effect on the outcome of the map. | |

![]() notice in the bottom left, I was in the PLA Type-98 Tank, aginst no noob tankers, TG tankers. also note 80% of our deaths where in the early part of the round when we where getting shot down by the EF2000, which yes is really over powered compared to the J-10 and yes we are working on it. Care to explain? EDIT: in fact I'll show you the problem with the CR2 which confuses soo many people to think its over powered... ![]() The col mesh is colour coded to make it simple. Green = Soft Armor, which should be found on the rear and top of the tank. Blue = Medium Armor, which is found on the sides. Yellow = Hard Armor which should be found on the front. The problem as I've pointed out is patches on the back of the tank, and in some cases very large patches like the fule barrles are using the Hard Armor material, which means if you hit them you would have been better off shooting the guy on his side armor. This is the problem with the CR2 and can only be fixed with a fix in Max to the col mesh and then a re-import. Please also note, its "hit points" on both the CR2 and Type-98 are exactly the same, at 1600. ![]() ![]() As you can see, its a small bug which confuses players and yes we hope to fix this small bug before v0.8's release. |
