About any weapon and explosive triggers the suppression. I think we took it out for silenced pistols but I am not sure. (After all it's hard to be suppressed by something you hardly notice)

A volume of about one bullet landing near you every 0.7 to 1.3 seconds (depends a bit on your FPS) will keep you suppressed at maximum intensity while if you only get sporadic incoming fire you should be able to fight back to a larger degree.

My recommendation is to try it out and then post your opinion here in the forums.

maybe we should increase the ammount of SAW's on one team to like 5/6 because i see all squads trying to get this now, and a squad without will be at a massive disadvantage

Bullets flying past won' trigger it I think, but any hits near you will count. Good luck firing from the towers on Bi Ming when a couple of people open up on you.
