Default Did you stop playing PR for a while because of gameplay reasons, and why?

i stopped playing PR for like a 1 months now i think, due to the gameplay, and the maps are to big, so you get raped by tanks all the time, and i bareley have good inf. moments. i realy enjoyed the gameplay of 0.5/0.6 i was even thinkin what about gameplay of PR 0.5 with the looks of PR 0.7

Nope! 0.7 is as special as pie! IT IS PIE!!!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes.
A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production.
Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I only stopped playing .6 because I didn't have a mic, and my computer hadn't been tweaked, so everything was slow and laggy, especially Basrah and its vast city.

After using TuneXP and changing some video card settings to the lowest of the low, everything's a little smoother, and I'm back in .7. I almost managed to get my mic working, but BF2's not detecting it.

You could say I stopped playing because gameplay was near to impossible with my lag and lack of communication.

Heck no! Keep playin whenever I get access to a good internet connection (in the meantime PRSP FTW)

Are you suggesting that 'Project REALITY' shouldn't be so....realistic?

Oxymoronic if that is the case.

No, PR is unique, and the 0.7 game-play is nice.

[R-DEV]OkitaMakoto:"Cheers, you're the man, Okita"
[R-DEV]Rhino:"I in fact got kicked from a server for tking."
Hitperson:"well done, treasure it forever."
[R-DEV]Rudd:"if a pidgeon lands on the phone line I lose internet for 3 days"
[R-DEV]Chuc:"Pro man, pro."
(yes, it was about me)
[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."

I rarely play anymore, mainly because I don't have time to play 2-3 hours in a row (under that, it's not worth the effort ).
And when I do, only with people I know.

Iv been playing this mod for more then 1.5 years straight, you sometimes need a break to not get bored of it. Playing PR is like drinking fine red wine all day, but realizing you need a beer or whisky shot every now and then.

in other words the mod is great, gameplay gets boring after a certain while.

Yeah I agree with cadett, but I get over it by just not playing it that often. I practise with my squad/team in the tourney once or twice a week and other then that I only play around about 4 rounds a week unless I have nothing else to do whatsoever. I don't like playing ANY game all the time no matter how much I like it. Considering how long the rounds are too 4 games a week is still alot of time, and I reckon it's better 6to not get frustrated with it and finish after a really good round then getting tired, confused and ultimately pissed off with it.

Same applies to most things really. I've become alot more picky with the games I play so I almost always leave a server with no squads playing properly so I don't waste my time, cos it's alot of time to waste.

I'm taking a little R&R from public playing - I got sick of people I was meeting there.

I still play Tournament actively, though.
