i am little bored in gamemods.
you run with your squadleader in the woods,place the rally. then you run into the battle without fear on dying because you can born again about 15 secs. |

There's to much trying to make it a real life simulator and not a team work computer game, things that happen and work in real life don't mean it works in a computer game.
What happened to the mod that was to focus on infantry combat....... |

PR has focused on infantry quite a bit. Infantry combat is the only thing it realistically simulates, all the other ancillary combat branches are in support of infantry, and are generally portrayed quite unrealistically.

But that doesnt mean it was a "mod that was to focus on infantry combat"
The outcome of most releases just happened to be mostly[i use that loosely] infantry based[look at all the recent updates on tanking and flight]... that doesnt mean the mod was MADE w/ infantry as its focus... two different things. intent and result. The RESULT was a lot of focus on infantry... Of course, its not like realistic infantry combat wasnt included in the intent at ALL, but you should get my point... |

Okita, you somehow remind me of SOAD.. I dont know why..
Anyhow, back on topic: Infantry combat cannot be fully simulated without the feeling you get when real bullets are flying just above your head.. That fear and the knowledge that if they have some form of RPG/mortar or anything else, your more dead than the bacon you had for lunch half an hour ago.. But I agree, PRs focus have been on creating a "realistic" combat enviroment for combined arms.. And since infantry is the base and foundation of all the other branches of the armed forces.. Well.. |
