Its all about players, you can deal with every amount of tanks and other assets if the team is good. Recently the players are... more like... ehhhmmm... clowns (to the real clowns: no offence intented ) Im playing from time to time now with ppl I know or with clan mates.

[R-MOD]Mongolian_dude: ...remember to show as much respect to the new players as the veteran players. Todays 'noob' is tomorrow's 'Vet'.

Reddish_Red: We're fine...

Random.. ehmmm... "player": Give me the chopper. No. I want to fly. No. But I want to, get out from it now or I TK you. ... ... ... No

Nope... 0.7 is the best version with most teamwork IMO. Now you are actually rewarded if you use rallypoints and build bunkers and firebases instead of just ditching an APC or commander truck in a eh... ditch.

Yes, stoped actively playing PR in october\november '07. Tried v0.7 in january, didnt liked it. I still have PR on my PC but I never play it anymore because of :
a) huge maps
b) armor rape
c) bad infantry action on new maps, imo.

I use to play almost everyday back in some of the older versions. PR sessions now however, usually require a good few hours of your time just get a good game in. I'm usually busy and tired during the weekdays with my RL issues, so I usually play only on the weekends. At the same time though, much of what goes on the pub servers puts me off sometimes too.

Like yesterday I was hoping to get a decent game in for about an hour, started a Tac.VOIP squad and got not one, not two, not three, not four but five voipless, micless players in my squad. Granted a few of them were following orders while some were just flat out lost, PR IMO just isn't the same without verbal communication between players, so after 15 minutes I just simply disconnected. Wish I could find myself a decent clan or get into the tourny one of these days.

I've always thought it would be a good idea if we started some sort of group for players looking to play PR on a cooperative, highly strategic level. That way we could always get online and play with other guys who really know how to play the game. Something that could possibly be done through Xfire.

i just recently stopped playing. mainly cuz it requires too much time where i can only play like 20 min sessions. maybe when vacation comes, ill get back into it.

plus im stragenly addicted to The Sims 2 since one of my friends got me into it. and i also got into nerf gun modding which takes even more time. theres like this school wide nerf war at my school. its pretty awesome.

Infantry makes me not want to play. It's the least enjoyable because every weapon is as accurate as a sniper and grenades are infinite. And don't get me started on prone spamming. The next release will address some of these issues... will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Of course there's the same maps over and over, and played the same way every time. Gets boring. Someone suggested a seek & destroy mode.. where the target is always in a different place every time. That could help.

Then again, Project Reality is still the best infantry/armor combat game out there; it just needs more time to develop. ...assuming the developers can all agree to take it the same direction..
