Challenger 2 Gunsight
I searched for this topic, but didn't find any other threads.
The Challenger 2 gunsight is in one word....horrible. I don't care if that's the realistic sight..it's awful. It's a gigantic red bullseye. The middle pip is so big it covers most of my targets. Is there any chance this sight can be reworked? (on a semi-related note, the volume of the "hum" inside the Challenger 2 gunner seat is extremely loud. It could use a few kicks down in volume intensity) |

Hi, I made the CR2 sight. Basically, that is how it looks like in real life according to the military advisers who have actually seen it in real life, and it will not change.

Looks like it was created in 10 seconds using a ColorMeElmo paint. When I fired the main gun I fully expected a giant flag to pop out with the word "bang".
Realistic or not, it completely takes me out of the PR gaming experience. At the very least, it could use some sophistication, shading, anti-aliasing, ...something. P.S. Are these the same military advisers who modeled the .6 gun accuracy because it was "realistic"? There's something to be said for realism, but more to be said about gameplay. |

Well, it's exactly how it looks like in real life according to [R-DEV]UK_Force. If you want to complain, complain to the engineers who designed the Challenger in real life.

Not suggesting that the circles change, only that the style/color be more sophisticated.
How about using the red color style similar to the red used in the M16 scope? Kinda fades at the edges, slight shadow, partially transparent and overall looks to be luminescent? |

I quite like it seems easier to hit targets to me. And if it is real this is Project Reality.

ya i though same thing but with all these Devs taking tours of British militay stuff I thought it must be real. So what ever. Maybe make the circle a bit smaller and leave the red paint.

I agree it does look a bit weird. The MEC tank's gunsight looks cool, but the Challenger's is typically British in it's understatedness. Realistic or not, a bit of cosmetic surgery should do the trick. Love the Challenger model though. Excellent work. Oh, and the Scimitar. And the ..... | |

That big red dot could be a bit smaller because realistic or not it's annoying to have your target completely covered up.
