LOL. Relax dude. My post was not even directed at you. You are taking things way too personal. Bit torrents are much better than mirrored sites imo. You have your opinion and thats fine. I will say that whenever I got a corrupt file from a mirrored site, I used a decent bit torrent site and it was all good. Sorry that you are having or had problems using bit torrents., I think if you ask around most people will tell you that they had fairly "noneventful" downloads and very few corrupt or broken files. Of course not everyone, but a majority.

my first impressions

i like the sounds, guns, textures, vehicles and all the great work gone into this

but im my opinion.. I do not like, not being able to spawn on SL / APCs... civilians on insurge are pointless and always get shot now cuz of new skin... running for 10mins for no penalty isnt fun... IEDs not sticking to vehicles, no mines, no shotguns, all AKs sound like fireworks, the weird spawn point changes in Al basrah.. merlin feels more heavy for some reason dunno if its good or bad yet... but yes i find all these other changes a bit too much, theres a point where its just not fun anymore...

I can't shoot the side of a barn door with any sniper/marksman kit

Other than that, yes its fabulous and great work thanks

I agree with this whole heartedly. Thus far I have only played with one squad that was properly communicating. It boggles my mind why people would play this mod that do not like using VOIP or communicating.

After playing for awhile I have determined I want to be able to spawn on my squad leader again, I want my damn GPS/minimap back, and I am wondering what the hell is wrong with the British 30mm autocannon?

Yea i was thinking that too. It took a good 25% of my ammo last night once to kill a support truck. Seems like it's damage is greatly nerfed and the ROF. Also just kinda drove up to a warrior last night with the jihad semi while he shot me. Never got close to killing me.


Only thing so far I don't like is the lack of ANY spawns even near the front. It's interesting in one sense but it's extremely annoying to be heading to get a rally up or a bunker and you get rammed or AT'd. Then you gota spawn all the way back at main where all the vehicles are gone and you're stuck walking across Kashan or Fools Road (Both way too big for that system) or waiting a very long time on transport.

clan mates n' i found the ACOG scope a bit odd at first. couldnt figure out why our rounds werent hitting. in 0.61 ino bullets were more accurate and now they seem to drop a bit but also the acog site seems a bit strange. do you use the red bit at the top of the black line OR the top of the red arrow? get a screenshot and take a look. you'll see wat i mean

They put in parabolic trajectory on the bullets didnt they.

The red line on the side is an error I think

IS it just me or is Battle for Qinling really laggy as sh*t?

I had a good time playing quinling and qwai for about 2 hours today. I found that going prone is more common, but fewer players are flopping down and blasting your face in. Those that do received shots to the eyeball. The ones who were tricky were the ones who proned, found my head, and shot carefully. I actually like this system. I personally am much in favor of being able to toss yourself on the ground after running or sprinting, because the last place I want to be when the bullets start wizzing by is taller than all the hard objects around me.

Definitely found the M16A4 a bit odd, but decided thats just because its new. It sounds like a freaking hand cannon when you fire it! Also, its a bit bigger than many of the other primary weapons.

Definitely liking the new spawn arrangements, although I'm not quite used to them yet. Also, as someone above said, teamwork is no longer an option. If your squad isn't working together, you're screwed, and your game is gonna suck. Plain and simple unfortunately. So find some people who are going to work with you, not against you, or be prepared to walk a lot.

it is indeed to me too has been even in .61 i yet dont know why the other maps run fine
