my first impressions
i like the sounds, guns, textures, vehicles and all the great work gone into this but im my opinion.. I do not like, not being able to spawn on SL / APCs... civilians on insurge are pointless and always get shot now cuz of new skin... running for 10mins for no penalty isnt fun... IEDs not sticking to vehicles, no mines, no shotguns, all AKs sound like fireworks, the weird spawn point changes in Al basrah.. merlin feels more heavy for some reason dunno if its good or bad yet... but yes i find all these other changes a bit too much, theres a point where its just not fun anymore... I can't shoot the side of a barn door with any sniper/marksman kit Other than that, yes its fabulous and great work thanks |

After playing for awhile I have determined I want to be able to spawn on my squad leader again, I want my damn GPS/minimap back, and I am wondering what the hell is wrong with the British 30mm autocannon?

It's interesting in one sense but it's extremely annoying to be heading to get a rally up or a bunker and you get rammed or AT'd. Then you gota spawn all the way back at main where all the vehicles are gone and you're stuck walking across Kashan or Fools Road (Both way too big for that system) or waiting a very long time on transport. | |

I had a good time playing quinling and qwai for about 2 hours today. I found that going prone is more common, but fewer players are flopping down and blasting your face in. Those that do received shots to the eyeball. The ones who were tricky were the ones who proned, found my head, and shot carefully. I actually like this system. I personally am much in favor of being able to toss yourself on the ground after running or sprinting, because the last place I want to be when the bullets start wizzing by is taller than all the hard objects around me.
Definitely found the M16A4 a bit odd, but decided thats just because its new. It sounds like a freaking hand cannon when you fire it! Also, its a bit bigger than many of the other primary weapons. Definitely liking the new spawn arrangements, although I'm not quite used to them yet. Also, as someone above said, teamwork is no longer an option. If your squad isn't working together, you're screwed, and your game is gonna suck. Plain and simple unfortunately. So find some people who are going to work with you, not against you, or be prepared to walk a lot. |
