whoever thought of the LZ symbol and making it visible for all squads is a genius. but what i would like is to make it possible for everyone to place a "move" marker while in a helicopter to direct the pilot. the marker goes away when you jump out of the chopper.

Good things!

Couple of questions, though:

I suppose the "letters over Vs" are the LZs? Why can't the SLs place them as well? Would be good for inter-squad communication.
How will the Officer kit work now that it's selectable from the main loadouts? Do you just have to be a squad leader or Commander to get it?

If you are a SL/commander, you can spawn with Officer instead of spawning with another kit and requesting it. It can still be requested again, after you spawned, though.

Also, can we get some black border around the compass letters/numbers, because white text is really hard to see on bright background?

Yeah this is al great stuff! BTW I agree with the above post^^. We need them to stand out more so everybody can see them even in a brightly colored map.

Also: Dose this mean all those skins for the PLA vehicles are going to come into play next patch? the ones from BF2 sure were cool to say the least, but they were in no way correct from what we have seen the PLA use on their vehicles. Changeing only one would make it stand out like a soar thumb.

BTW alot of trucks in the Middle East are white because the people can't afford anything else for replacement paint. Still kudos for giveing the Insurgents something new other than a kit revamp yet agian to confuse the noobies all over agian.

Any chance you will have the commander say something like:

Relocate to this extraction point over........

and squad leaders say in kind when they accsept:

Roger that moveing to your location!


This could be vary helpfull for both Commanders and squad leaders to make sure squads that use the BlackHawks, WZ-9s (When we get them), and that MEC chopper to know where to go to pickup troops.

Just tried out playing with the renderer.drawhud 0 thing... Cool :P can we have it like that rhino? :P with just a lil real life looking compass in place of the map? *crosses fingers*

Those new skins look awesome :P I almost expect the Technical to have some huge rims
