The map is pretty tough for the US. With technicals and insurgents always being around a cach and therefore always having access to long range weapons like Marksman and sniper there isnt really much of an edge for the us that makes up for their finite tickets vs the Taliban infinite tickets.
It would be the perfect scenario too to add an apache with the map being a large area also it would be a realistic scenario for the us to have that kind of aircover against an numerically superior force. I know what some might think, that the apache would be too overpowererd, that it can win the map on its own etc. , but consider this, you do not always have a crew in the apache that can use it to its full potential and stellar cooperation between ground troops and CAS is kinda rare too, so there wouldnt be that many games where the apache dominates the map. Also with requestable AA and a bunch of technicals the Taliban have a fair ammount of countermeasures unlike irl. |

To be honest I donīt think an Apache would fit on there, though I would like it.
Its only overpowered if the taliban team suck really. Though what would go well I think (yes I know it isnīt done or in PR yet) is the Kiowa Warrior. |

I mean usually I'd be all for it, but it seems the choppers get shot down either way. This would be an interesting concept, adding a reason for the sniper to be there other than to look pretty
Maybe a Beta test team/member could try it out? |

You have to remember the Canadians are being put on Archer soon and we dont have a dedicated Attack Helicopter.

Not Big enough.
Apaches are going to require bigger space. New PR v0.9 Standards if you've seen have set it so that most Air Assets are being removed from 2KM Maps. due to sound bugs |

there is just so little cover i feel it would be massive rape unless taliban get like 100 SA-7's.
i say save CAS for maps like sangin with LOADS of cover for taliban to hide in etc |

That would be bad for the map IMO. Operation Archer is a completly open map. Any apache pilot skilled or not could just whipe out the entire taliban. Just keep it up high and the gunner does the rest without much trouble finding the enemy.
I however wouldn't mind a Attack Littlebird. That would actually be perfect for the map. |

The sound bug wouldn't affect anything in Archer, and it's never been restricted to the size of the map (the sound bug, that is), only the size of the view distance.
