Binos or sight for tank crew commander

Whenever I am in the 50 I always wish I could pull out the binos without having to jump out of the tank. It would be nice if there were an alternate fire mode that would bring up some kind of zoom sight or binos.

An additional "safe" seat in the tank that the commander could toggle to that had a sight could also potentially fulfill this role.

Please give me the search terms because all I am getting are my own posts on these topics. it is easy to say "please use the search function" but have you ever used it before suggesting it for a particular post? I do search first but if I don't get any hits then I will post regardless.
Don't worry, if this has been all discussed before then my post should get burried pretty fast. I hate it when new posters are discouraged from discuusing things that have already been discussed and God forbid if an ancient thread were ever to be ressurected.
