Re: Battlefield 2142 Effects

2142 is a hardmod of bf2 just like bf heroes is going to be. So it was made with access to the original source code and cant easily be replicated afaik.
My wish list would be something like blurred focus for iron sights so you cant zoom onto the entire picture, thats a shader effect the guy who did the bleed out effect did I think

I uploaded the stuff i suggest the most -http://www.vimeo.com/1401200-

It needs a bit more shake thats too less but still if you play it kills your concentration you dont understand that from the video but it disturbs (__-reality-__)

lol, would be nice for those bit to be put in (and also that sniper stabilisation thing...but I know thats a pipe dream)

Respect the R-Staff, they are pretty...pretty badass

i suppose the adjustable scroll zoom would be realistic in that your concentrating more on the scope but i dont like it.. i dont even like the 2 click zoom on the sniper kit.. why not just put on a high power zoom and be done with it?

im against the ajustable zoom... cause this is a idear of the future....
hey if its ownly a thing of the animation with the headmoving is it then not able to rebuild the headmove on zooming???
this mean move the head to weapon not the weapon to head
that will be a good addition to the movment animation )

I remember with the HAT scope, it used to have two levels but was changed partly because the actual system can only use one fixed zoom anyway.

The head movement should be exactly the same as you see it. Meaning if you see a friendly's head moving his actual view is there. Not just some random movement.

I hope you get my point :\
