The point is you shouldn't have to though, a gunner in real life - assuming what has been said is true - wouldn't see some infantry and think "One second, I'll just check my map...".
But is this kinda thing even applicable for infantry as well as armour? Anyway if it's the case, then Drankenburgs suggestion of a blue tag quick fix seems pretty reasonable, if it can be only applied to chopper/jet/whatever pilots that is. |

Well whit the zoom and a good pilot you can pretty clearly see if its friend or foe. In Real Life, pilots ask to ground troops, grid confirm and they ask over and over again before engage. "Movement spot near building 3 grid C5, please confirm its hostile" ( since US got maps from city wich each building tagged whit a number, make the job ALOT easier to them ).
