Special Operations Squad (Navy Seals SAS)

I was thinking of implementing a special operations squad if the game engine allows to modify the squad system the way that classes within the squad system can be created, for example a Navy Seals squad.

Such a squad should be limited to one per team and necessitate the approval of the CO to be opened. The commander should also have the ability to dismantle the squad, if he isnt satifsfied with it (because instead of following orders they just fight alongside the frontline making use of their abilities for example). Also it should be restricted to 3 men, joining invitation only further penalities or limitations for the squad could be higher spawntime and loosing one instead of 2 tickets when killed maybe.

Now for the abilities, the squad should have for standard equipment the pistol (socom for navy seal with disposable silencer) a grappling hook and binoculars with a thermal option. Furthermore they should be able to cycle their primary weapon to have a silenced mp5 (or similiar) Automatic rifle grenade launcher sniper rifle from the get go if they dont want the standard rifle. A secondary weapon should aslo be avaible in a similiar fashion for them to pick (except to the squadleader) eithier upon spawning or to be issued on a bunker and such if it turns out that a 3 man squad with 2 HAT kits from the get go is just too powerfull, if it is possible to issue single weapons to be added to a kit, or circumventing it by making the game engine copy the current kit of the navy seal and issue the same kit with the added weapon he requested.
Another ability should be the one to spawn a boat on the waters, or maybe even including new insertion vehicles like the seal delivery mini sub or a paraglider.

What can the commaner use them for ? Reconnaissance for example, say he wants to take fishing village on the Qwai river map instead of sending troops in blind he can deploy a navy seal team to have a look at the vegetation with their thermal goggles to have an idea of the defense. A navy seal squad might also be more inclined to be dropped out far away from the action in a distant village on Kashan desert that isnt avaiable for capture yet to scout for bunkers and report on the defense deployed and even take it out with C4 laser designators etc.

Sabotage with the grappling hook the seals can attempt to access a location behind the frontlines overcoming structures to take out bunker bridges outside the main etc.

Or simply support such as sniping taking out armor etc.

Nothing about the squad system can be changed, as far as I know: it's hardcoded. And so are thermal goggles.

Thus this gets the lock, I'm afraid. Even though you've obviously put a lot of effort into typing it.

Like everything you said, AFAIK is hardcoded, e.g thermal binos, squad system being changed etc. Sadly it won't be implemented(would be cool tho!!)
