Re: Militia BMP-1 or 2
Why would the MEC do this if their T-90s work well enough against Western armor?

BMP-3's are a monstrosity of an APC against other APC's but against tanks it isn't going to happen. They may withstand a tank shell well, but they don't have enough firepower to put an enemy tank down. Within the past 3 days me and one of my gunners (Forgot who it was at the time.) stumbled across a one man Challenger 2 on Al-Kufrah. It just so happened that he was smoking very badly as he took a solid hit from a T-90 nearby to our location. Turned out that he didn't see us and delt him the death blow. Our BMP-3 actually remained active the whole round, I have a newfound respect for that APC.

Re: Militia BMP-1 or 2
Hence why they would be on an APC respawn, of 15 minutes instead of 20.
So there would be more of them available. |

Re: Militia BMP-1 or 2
4 T-55+ 2 BRDM vs 2 M1A2+4 LAV-25+1 TOW Hummer= 2 Cobras+ 2 A-10's=USMC Pawnage
0.5 basra pwned for USMC. But yes a new APC would be great, but not for INS or Militia. |

I guess there are people out there that love to play the U.S.M.C. side of the "Qwai River" map, getting shot up by Heavy AT every 2 minutes and ensuing Type 98 tank paranoia while in an LAV-25 Pirana. Yet another laughable supposedly asymmetrical map. Yeah, I've seen the U.S.M.C. win on that map plenty of times. Matter of fact, I think all of the times the U.S.M.C. team had won, was because the Chinese team turned out to be that horrible to allow such a victory. Anyways back to the topic. Hopefully we'll see a BMP-2 at some point in the future. The Militia are in need of a practical APC for front line combat... Although, even I must admit what I just said seems alittle Oxymoronish. "a practical APC for front line combat." Now, that's funny.

Re: Militia BMP-1 or 2
The BRDM Spandrel is excellent on Mestia, if you know how to use it. All you have to do is park it on the side of the road (preferably in a ditch) concealed by some trees. Then, when an APC comes rolling around the corner, you fire on them. They have no time to react, and it's usually a one shot kill.
I killed four vehicles (2 Warriors, 2 Scimitars, 1 loaded Land Rover) in a row like this one round. |

The current British turret on the Warrior has no capacity to mount ATGMs. Don't assume you know better than a well informed Dev team with numerous active and retired military advisors. Be better informed before you start throwing these amazing "facts" around.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

If this is going to come down to facts, it is factual that the LAV-25 Pirana, WZ-551 and the BTR-90 do have Anti-Tank missles. But still they're currently lacking to be even present on these APC's. Granted they were taken away in previous patches for gameplay balance, but that still defeats the aspect of reality itself. Also I hope in the same sense these military advisors had informed the Project Reality team about the "Warrior Lethality Improvement Program" otherwise known as WLIP. Which is just a few years down the road if not sooner. Then again... That would make the turret on the British Warrior MCV-80 currently in game unrealistic, as it does not have any stability compensator to begin with. As the Rarden was origionally a 30mm Anti-Aircraft gun slapped on an APC many years ago.
