Ghillie Suit - Suppression - Binoculars (Small Suggestions)

Three relatively small ideas I put in one thread here.

The first idea would apply for the Sniper & Spec Ops kits. These kits would both spawn in with no camouflage standard. However, the player can obtain the ghillie suit through an upgrade request. Right after allocating either kit, they can request an upgrade through the commo rose (Just like how kit requesting is done). Once the upgrade is requested, the exact same kit will spawn on the ground but this time with a ghillie suit attached. This can only be done at the main base, bunker or firebase.

This would allow players to essentially choose whether or not they want to use the ghillie suit or not, and would allow for proper spotter/shooter teams.

Second idea applies to suppression, and talk of possibly having the effect trigger within vehicles (under certain conditions of course). For instance taking small arms fire and above within a jeep could trigger suppression. In an APC/IFV or tank, small arms fire wouldn't do much, but larger rounds from another APC, or rockets could trigger suppression within a much heavily armored vehicle. Would open up some interesting tactics concerning armor where an APC could potentially disorient a tank crew. Helicopters could also be subject to the suppression effect from small arms fire and above.

If possible though, I think within vehicles the older shell shock effect would be more appropriate.

Third idea is to remove most, if not all binoculars from kits except the Officer, Spec Ops and Snipers (Heavy AT, Anti-Air and Marksman could possibly keep theirs also). Reason being is that I don't believe binoculars are standard issue for everyone. I don't see it being too big of an issue, but it would make identifying an officer a lot easier if you see an enemy soldier pull out a pair of binocs. Would also free up some space on some of the kits for something more useful too.

That's all I got.

Interesting, but since Ghillies don't work at 200m's + wouldn't really be worth it.

Suppression is meant to force people into cover, whilst in a vehicle you are probably getting a great deal of cover, so not needed.

This has been brought up before, whilst binoculars aren't standard issue for all foot soldiers, most will buy a pair of cheap binoculars for there own personal kit.

That's all I got.
my thoughts in red.

sadly in most games, ghillie suits are never used to their full potential cos it aint RL! In real life, you can be about to step on people if they are camoflaged well enough, but in games it would never happen, sad as it is. And also, it is true, most people will buy their own binos

well in bf2v i was playing mec on the city with a tv station and 3 mec bases or something.. we had all the flags and their was one sniper left.. we were looking for him for lik 20 minutes.. i even walked 12 times passed him, than i searched up in the construction site and looked down. than i could barely see that sniper laying in the grass.. it looked sweet.. you just need some grass that blend in with that ghillie

Grass dissapears at a distance, so it makes the sniper stand out, probally even more so than a soldier without a ghillie suit.

Upgraded SFX in PR. Sniper shoots, sniper dies! Because people like me will walk round the map after listening careful with my headphones on and X-Fi card and will simply walk up and stick him with ma knife!

It can be done...

I agree with the supression idea, I think it would make tankers more cautious and more effective if they work together.

I dont agree with the binocular idea, but I think the crosshair should be removed for most binos, right now you can use them for ranging if you dont have a SOFLAM, and I cant do that with the ones I have.

Ballistics + Zeroing

I agree with jonny's bino idea,

But why give vehicle suppression really? When I'm commanding armour I always tell em "your tank/apc is an asset, it must be preserved above all else"

However do 50cal gunners on top of tanks/light vehicles get supression?

Respect the R-Staff, they are pretty...pretty badass
so, if you don't like PR, get a refund
