Smile My Medic Mini-game suggestion :)

Being a dedicated medic for almost all infantry squads, I would like to see something more interesting happen for this kit ... this is what I propose .

What would be interesting for a mini-game for a medic is ... instead of holding up a health pack to heal after a rez, they have to...
1) disinfect and stop the blood loss with medic bag
2) setup a line with a syringe
3) hook up some saline to that line to temporarily replenish fluid loss haha
4) (medic bag can still be used to simulate basic first aid to heal minor damage)

Medics can have two ways to heal someone after a rez.. steps 1-3, or just step 4... but...

Steps 1-3 should speed up healing time, while medic bag takes a lot longer to heal.

One problem I do see with this is the limited "weapon" slots available ... maybe they can all be "alternated" with the medic bag key? Just like how c4 has an alternate button to switch from c4 to detonator?

What do you think?

Nah, it shouldn't be that bad.. just use medic bag to stop bleed, then hit the medic bag again to switch to syringe&saline combo to heal the rezzed person faster. I just want it to be more immersive than just a regular old medic bag.

Besides Since many of the players think that medic has been "nerfed" (which imo, it hasn't), why don't we get some luvin' and make the kit more fun to play? I think we deserve some sort of reward for always being the one in the squad to lift up spirits

Hell, they should even make a mini game for engineers too... using a magic wrench for everything is getting old lol

Code it, model it, texture it, get it working in game, youtube it and Im all for it. Otherwise, its just too much work.

Trust me, id love to have more of a procedure for healing guys as I play medic as well, but you would need new models for all that, new animations... how would you 'set up the saline' aside from holding down the mouse... it just seems like it'd still be the same thing with new models moving around... :shrug:

But the medic just slaps the guy and says 'get the hell up, its just a scratch you wuss', Evacuation to anywhere for treatment is not currently done in game. Ever.

If it is something that requires more than a plaster you are dead in-game, most of the time.

At least thats what I think it represents.

Well, I think it would be too much to actually try to simulate the procedures for it, but yeah, holding down the mouse for the same thing, but at least make it more immersive with something to use in addition to just a magic medic bag .

Eh? Seriously? I constantly tell people I revive to get somewhere safe before I consider healing them. unless the threat has been dealt with. Thats how anyone in my squad is told to do it. Pass it on. More people need to use that line of thinking.

I like the suggestion, but without being able to pick up wounded and do all the other stuff to back it up its a useless addition.

I like ur style mate, Medics FTW.

I like the idea, but the eternal problem of animators and coding all of it. Even if it ment just to switch through 3 kinds of "weapons" and clicking mouse Im for it. but... above.

As for Okitas post. Hell yeah. Doing this all the time. You can walk? Walk to me. You cant, I will come to you, clearing all the treats around (it happened to me that I cleared whole squads with medic kit or picked fallen AT kit to take out APC before reviving) or just simply smoke the threat and come with me after being revived.

EDIT: And the new ironsights are deadly, I mean it.
