Dare I say..

TRAUMA CENTRE!?

In all seriousness, while it may be a very cool thing to implement, the resources needed far outweigh the projected value to the game. By all means, you can work on it then present it to the community, that's probably the best way to go about it.

It's too bad there isn't a fireman's carry option. Grab the "dead" dude, take hime behind cover, revive, etc...

That would be cool, too bad I can't code and model

America is not at war. The American military is at war. America is at the mall.

Ofcourse you can. It requires a lot of hard work and learning but you can code and model. How long it takes depends how much genius there is in you from none to all of you.

Few years back when I wanted to have a certain car in GTA Vice City and there was none around in community mods i did it myself. I did know nothing about it. It took me something about 3-5 days to learn basics about GTA modelling and coding. after a bit more then two weeks I was driving a new shiny SAAB.

Its all about persistence.

Random.. ehmmm... "player": Give me the chopper. No. I want to fly. No. But I want to, get out from it now or I TK you. ... ... ... No

Yes, he gets up, runs behind cover, you check for cuts/sprains/etc, you slap him and tell him the vest stopped it and that hes just bruised.

2) setup a line with a syringe
3) hook up some saline to that line to temporarily replenish fluid loss haha
4) (medic bag can still be used to simulate basic first aid to heal minor damage)

Medics can have two ways to heal someone after a rez.. steps 1-3, or just step 4... but...

Steps 1-3 should speed up healing time, while medic bag takes a lot longer to heal.
*cough*Gameplay*cough*

This will not work during firefight. You will get shot and this will be the end your medic mini-game.
Useing medpack already simulates all those actions.

Ahh, thought your problem was that no one follows you for help, but now I see your problem.

Meh, it's a game, based on a mainly crappy engine, a game in which I don't feel like having to get flown to the hospital and take 3 months leave before I can get back to any fighting[or get sent stateside and slowly booted out of the armed services]

It would work if bodies could be recovered and evacuated for no loss of tickets, but it would reduce the number of destructible buildings we could have on a map.

Of course you don't do that during a firefight.... In a firefight, you're supposed to neutralize the enemy first before patching up your teammates anyway (at least that's what I do), or else your whole squad will end up dead.

-_-... medics have a rifle to protect their teammates while under attack.. you don't heal in the middle of a fight.

Are you aware that crittical state lasts for about 30 seconds? I have no idea what firefights you've experienced in PR, but sometimes there is no time to neutralize the enemy and firefights last for couple minutes (and sometimes even longer), you need to revive and heal teammates under fire in some situations.

When I say firefight I mean Squad Vs Squad firefight (+ sometimes, vehicle support). Shooting to one or two enemy soldiers is not a firefight for me
