Chopper roder controlls if hit.

There was a similar post but nobody actually answered the guys question so i thought id try it again. I know that if a chopper gets smacked by an rpg or enough rounds in its tail roder the blades should be destroyed and the chopper could go into a wild spin bringing it down. Now i know this only works if the chopper is slow enough, since if it is going fast enough while it gets penetrated in the ass () it wont go into a spin and just glide down or what not. Is this possible? Pardon if this was answered previously.

Jonny, what's the difference between a dedicated server and a normal one? Sorry, I'm just plain stupid

It'd be nice to see that in-game, but if Jonny says no, it will probably be no.

I local server means the game is running off of your own PC, and certain things do not need to be repeated across the network to all other players. A dedicated server is a seperate PC running the game, and sending copies of all events to all other connected computers.

The dedicated one needs BF2CC, one of the most unstable programs and the most badly designed GUI I have ever seen.

Other than that I have no idea what the difference is, you can join someone elses local server via hamatchi and the rudder thing works fine there. Its just that some things dont work on a dedicated server.

Ah, so that's what a dedicated server is.

Why does a dedicated server need BF2CC?

It's the program that enables you to alter/admin the server. There may be other programs out there but that's the one I know we use on our server.
