Hey, got a small question. How come the Eurofighter and the J-10 are so lightly armed in Qinling? The J-10 can support from 8-11 weapon stations, and the Eurofighter can support up to twelve.
I've said this in another thread, but I want to focus more on the playload of the J-10 and Eurofighter. I don't know as much about the J-10 as I do the Eurofighter, but I'm pretty damn sure the Eurofighter could support 6 1000lb bombs, 2 AIM-120s and 4 AIM-9s. The J-10 could support similar, with 5/6 bombs, 4 PL-8s and 2 PL-11s. I'm all for making these two great jets as good as they could be. They'd be a lot more useful with 6 bombs under the wings. CombatAircraft.com - Chengdu J-10 CombatAircraft.com - Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon ![]() Picture of potential Eurofighter payload, I don't have a good one of a J-10, sorry. |

as far as i know planes rarely go in fully armed anywhere. They just carry the weapons needed to complete the mission they are doing.

I don't know if you've noticed, but the jets already move like they have a full payload and fuel...

they are loaded out like they are now cos we want to keep them as fighter jets, to gain air superiority which is there main role in r/l and not be used as bombers much. Keeping weapon ammo low for ground attack means lots of landings for rearming is needed and as these things are VERY effective weapons when used in the right way we dont want to have the vBF2 spammy jets that are constantly spamming w/e they want and racking up the kills endlessly.

in game, umm not really they use the empty weight and turn twice as fast as the should, cus jets really shouldnt be on kashan, the smallest map they should be on is wake island 8x8km, so untill that map comes out then the jets will not be able to turn real or go super sonic. cas knows how much can fit on each jet and had some of the jets tweaked so they would be carrying better things. if you post in this thread cas could put it in and if some people would like to test we could to see if the lay out would work. http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f66-...lerzangoo.html | |

They already have quite a number of weapons to use, I'd say that what the DEVs did to reduce spamminess is right.

In my experience, the armement on the two jets is enough to be an effective air superiority fighter and pop down once in a while to bust an enemy position. It's balanced enough and doesn't need to be changed.

True, now that you mention it, more payload might make it too easy to spam the one laser-guided target you can hit with bombs at a time.
Personally, I think it'd be cool to see a Tornado GR4 and a Chinese attack jet replace one EF-2000 and one J-10, respectively |

IMO a mix of one j10/tornado air superiority and one j10/tornado ground attackwill be perfect .
