I couldnt find this so I presume its never been suggested
Ive allways thought this would be a good addition for the British Forces just for bringing ammo, health and fixing other veichles... From RLC site: Demountable Rack Offload and Pickup System (DROPS) vehicles form the logistic backbone of the British Army. There are two types of vehicle – the Leyland Medium Mobility Load Carrier (MMLC), and the Foden Improved Medium Mobility Load Carrier (IMMLC). Both trucks are 8x6 load carriers with a 15-tonne flatrack payload, allowing the rapid loading and unloading of flatracks or containers. ![]() ![]() Like the real thing, 3 seats, driver, passenger and gunner at the top (without a 50.cal) ![]() Allthought the codeing for the extending arm to drop lets say... a crate of ammo off might not be possible, it would still be cool just as a truck.. and adds to the existing British equipment list Thoughts ? |

![]() Some guy on another forum- "I'm an athiest so i don't believe in the apocalypse. The rest of you are ****ed." To deny all the qualities of a being is equivalent to denying the being itself. A being without qualities is one which cannot become an object of the mind, and such a being is virtually non-existent. |

DROPS would be a good replacement for the M35 the Brits are currently using (I would suggest the good old Bedford TK, but they've been retired, IIRC) but it doesn't really add anything to the gameplay.
Definetly something to keep in mind for when the gameplay elements are more up to date and the DEVs can spend some more time on adding stuff like this in but don't expect it in a hurry. |

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

It's the same system used on the US built HEMTT, right?
edit: It's called the palletized loading system on the HEMTT. ![]() |

It may look like an apparent bin truck but there tough...
![]() ![]() Not that theres any rush but veichles like this and the US one posted earlier it would be cool to reley on teammates to bring the goods rather than a crate that takes 5 years to hit the ground and a plane noise |
