RANKED SERVERS!!

Maybe be a dumb question but im new

How come there aint any Ranked Servers then if there are i cnt find em. nd will they ever be coming.

no..cant rank with unofficial EA maps as far as i know...never will be ...

ABR ranking - which is ranks without unlocks and half-arse tracking that works *most* of the time - which currently acts like its on cancer!

Hopefully ABR will just DIE already so we can without ranking as a whole - its bad enough trying to explain ABR let alone try to explain how to get the client when you can't download it on the battlefieldranking.net site half the time.

Long story short - Ranked =/= PR

PR > Ranks.

EA dose not rank custom maps or mods so that players want to play vbf2 instead of mods/custom maps. Ranks suck anyways and the sooner players realize that the sooner players will play for fun instead of there next unlock.

I actualy wish PR just had its own ranking built in - separately managed from ABR or AMR or whatever. no patches or not __init__.pys . Given the server code is already on limited release it would be quite easy to achieve I expect.. and more manageable too. no more 'install X' in addition to pr itself.

i think ranks can be used for the forces of good insted of evil

by this i mean higher ranked players may be given proirity, not by server of DEVs but people who play on their team, to be commander or SL insted of newbs who have yet to learn

I think stats are a vital thing, as players can track how they are doing, see where they can improve etc. Unlocks and crap like that based on really only on how much time you have played are rubbish.

So the Stats are working every time you play on any server and are not connected with ABR?
I just had a feeling that stats dont record my kills and time. But i was not using ABR and I admit I never test Stats precisely.

Who cares about ranks.. You dont get unlocks in PR so they dont really do anything...
