TV GUIDED MISSLES

I was wondering if there were any plans in getting rid of the old tv guided missles and going with laser guided, IR tracking missles. It would be nice if we could utilize the fetures of the Ah-64 Longbow, system such as the fire and forget system. When you see a heat signature in your Taads there is a automatic box that locks on to the target such as with the AA missles. Esentially an attack element would be in a masked position, unmask and then fire; then they would mask again. When they came back up from the position they could confirm kill and continue with thier mission. Ok ill get down from my box, anyone want to shoot holes in my plan?

then just call for the chopper of your team to cover you when you are moving , easy.

im agree , lazer and IR missils are much more common in moder warfare than tv guided missils (at least for choppers)

I like the TV guided missiles. I would think they are more fun to use.

If you are in the armor then you shouldnt be by yourself you should have other elemnts around you to detect and destroy enemy air assets... Problem is is that no one knows how to do that.
