Sitting on a tank

Hello, just another idea:

1 - 3 extra seats on a tank. Just to bring soldiers along the map. When the tank shoot they fall down.

Greets, hope you understanding me.

Don't think the falling off bit is possible, and why can you not simply stand on the top of the tank? (Although sitting on the side would look a lot better) Isn't it only the turret that recoiles a lot when a tank fires, the rest of the tank is pushed back a little bit as well, so you wouldn't fall off the side if you were sitting there?

Oh, and hello to you as well.

Allied Intent has this featured. I think there are 4 external "seats" on the turret.
As for the falling down when shot, I don't see why not. If you look carefully when you shoot an insurgent or a mec soldier in either a technical or one of the blue scrapheaps they are more or less ejected out of the car.

Edit: Oops... Forgot to question the realism of having these extra "seats" on the tank turrets. Modern day troops travel in their own transports which are the Bradley IFV or the LAV-25 or Stryker... you get the point I hope...

1 Grab a SAW
2 Find the highest hill/building around a flag
3 Move there, stay there, Spot, call out, attack marker... SAW!
4 For god sake go from high ground to high ground! NOT bottom of a valley to open field to gully!

It really depends on the situation though, hell 4 british marines hitched a ride on a couple of Apaches when they noticed one of there comrades was left behind.
Adding these "seats" to tanks just gives players more options. And as with RL it would be very dangerous sitting on the side of a tank due to lack of cover and how much you will stand out.

A full squad should be making use of a tank to clear difficult streets though, so if the tank is needed somewhere else then this will allow them to stick together and be more effective.

lol, i am as cool as a cucumber, remeber that, i never get angry, only sometimes anoyed and in this case i just felt like rathe than telling Sixday that it was unrealistic or to use the search button like often happens, but instead ask him to think more carefully about he suggestion.

Allowing people to come to the correct conclusion or answer with out some one acutaly directly telling them it but give them a few hints, helps people to remember and avoid making or doing things that might be considered: silly, incorrect, not thought through ext. ext. - even from the most minor to the most major things.

So, BlakeJr i am sorry you thought i was a crzy axe wielding nutter who wanted to get my stuck on into Sixday's shoulder............jkes

It would appear that it is <his/her> opinion that it would help, and mine also, as it is an opinion it is therefore correct because it is our opinion.
