Upgrade RP at Al Bas VCP to Bunker

Whenever I play Al Basrah, the very first think Insurgents do is head to the VCP and knife the silly little RP there.

Now that it's an uncap point, why not upgrade that RP to a Bunker from the start? It would still be destroyed by a car/truck bomb, but it would be far more useful then the RP, and could be rebuilt without a commander (which are reasonably rare on AB compared to other maps).

The VCP never has a spawn after a couple of minutes; make it a reasonably useful position again.

1) Go Commander.

2) Order a squad to defend the VCP

3) Get a truck to that position

4) Build bunker

5) profit

Its a checkpoint, not a full blown army base where 1000's of men are kept. The RP is made to act like a small Company of men deployed there. And do as fuzzhead said, he is correct, like normal.

He speaks the truth. I've spent rounds on Al Basrah as Commander, disputed and explained every little important aspect of having a bunker up at Vehicle Checkpoint to the team. Despite the fact that it remains an Uncappable Flag is simply beside the point.

Then about 20 minutes later when I finally get a truck in there and one lone Rifleman shows up and starts shoveling up the bunker. Within 2-5 minutes of it being established the whole team starts flooding out of it like it's going out of style.

Including the guy(s) that was like "zomg WTF Warren, lyke geeze they CANT cap the FLAG at VCP N00B!!11!!oneone!111one!11"... I don't get some players sometimes, really don't.

"Let's see... The GR4 Tornado barely makes a landing. Where's my F-15 Strike Eagle? And for cryin' out loud, someone fix the Harrier!"

If you or fuzz ever need a shovel and a sentinel at VCP, I'd help. It's hard to find people who value defense. Which should be easier with those new toys like the return of the AA gun and deployable .50 cals.
