Default Navigation Mode

Why not add a NAV mode for jets? It could replace the current HUD - 1, which is the first HUD that shows the amount of cannon ammo + flares that are currently armed inside the aircraft. Apart from checking your situation on flares, the first HUD choise isnt that important. If a Pitch Ladder could be added ( Maybe even a Flight Path Marker) then it would help the pilot quite abit during take off and landing.

I agree that Navigation wont be used when flying jets in PR as you wont get more than 5 seconds without having to turn around. But for a landing the Pitch ladder can really be usefull, atleast it is in the other simulation games.

Well the Pitch ladder is just the half rectangles with numbers on their sides, hopefully it wouldnt be too hard of a code to crack.

The Cobra and Apache has this I believe, but I don't know the accuracy in which the pitch ladder is simulated.

Most aircraft in CA have a nav mode.

The pitch ladder is the same in almost all modes. However it is fake.

With the current hud code its impossible to have a working pitch ladder, the current single doesn´t even behave right.

yea i would agree that the HUD would have to be fixed but your quote ... fly 5 seconds then have to turn around is a LAME truth about PR ..... its problematic lol ... i would say keep the huds the way they are works and keeps every one happy
