How about a lazer parascope. The chopper would be able to chill behind a mountain or trees while it lazes targets for attack choppers out of harms way

Scout helicopters aren't really necessary in PR with the circumstances that they would be given. The Kiowa in PR would really fit under the category of light attack, but in my personal opinion still usable for Spotting with its MMS.

But sometimes they can be used for lazing and spotting for CAS Fixed Wing Aircraft. I was in the Littlebird, co-piloting it and using the FLIR available to set down lazes from 600+ Altitude for the A-10 with the lack of ground forces setting down laser targets themselves. Together, the A-10 was able to kill 15 vehicles and static objectives using precision munitions, directed by the Littlebird.

This feature is already implemented to most scout helicopters (if not every), and would act as a secondary function to the attack function that most of the helicopters already sport.

I want anything that will give helicopters more to do than just transport/supply drops and orbital bombardment/strafing.

For the OH-58D yes since it has one in r/l and we would put it on there because its realistic but not for the other helicopters that do not...

seems like all the same choppers should have that maybe they got modded before the battle

but anyway some transport choppers have hydras and they are not in game for balance reasons so why not have lazing for same choppers for balance?

Increasing the zoom on the scout camera could have an outsized effect .
The littlebird and others are just a tad weak and lb is slow too, they are sitting ducks on the wide open maps like kashan that actually have the laser guided jdams.

More distance when spotting would make the difference

Having the lase actually land on the place you clicked and having it live long enough to actually have your Apache or A-10 come in to kill it would be pretty critical for a "let's have the choppers work together" idea.

yes but what if that system would be improved by lazing helicopters ?
would be more realistically in my opinion - sorry for my bad english
