it's definitely not realistic to revive a person after it's taken some shots. it's possible to heal a bleading wound - but when two or three shots have taken you down: you're DOWN 4 EVER! they COULD manage this at a hospital, but not on the battlefield.
give the soldiers their field dressings back, and remove the medics ability of reviving. cheers -RR- |

Since carrying people is hardcoded the epipen has been introduced to get the soldiers off the fire so the medics can patch them up, also press the para-key to bring up youre field dressing.

Don't snipe. Kill the medic. Kill anyone who gets the medic kit after that

Being honest, I would like to see a few games where medics can only revive if the casualty has been hit in the legs or arms, kinda making headhots headshots again, and torso shots kill, though body armour means that you have a chance of surviving, wonder if player behaviour would change much.

This has been discussed a lot... One of the arguments I remember: the medic system is not mean to be realistic. It kinda symbolises another soldier step into the fight instead of the fallen one since squads are not usually made up from 6 people and there is too few of infantry on the field as it is...

we play a mean game where u need socials aspects such as the medicsystem. this influences the game much more than just due to the revive action as itself.
