Thats a good idea exactly.. Merge two things and make one invisable.. Hmmm.
It might look laggy from the inside tho, but still. Its better then nothing.. Lets see what rhino has to say about this one.. +1

HAHA you Read my Mind i was literly JUST thinking that ... have like 4 sections of the plane seat 8 people ( 4 sepirate vehicles ) acting as one full vehicle ) since it is not a controled vehicle Small movments would be applied so it wouldnt have too much problems with one object not keeping up with the rest or so on ( warping ) of moving objects overlaping and such ..

this way you can fit 32 people in the same plane :O lool 4x8=32

I also like the invisible child object theory ... that could work too lol ( not so much for man controled vehicles though such as chinook)

Or even having the plane STATIC Very high in the sky but having the ability to move your parachute again could be a usefull idea.. ( jets are flying soo fast anyway that it would be hard for them to realise the static isnt even moving ) this way you can spawn inside the plane and not worry bout 8 spots to sit
