so how would u back up in a tactical situation if your taking effective enemy fire? (lower ramp send one guy out....waves hands.... MAN DOWN!!) I m pretty sure in combat rules like that can be ignored or broken. plus its a game so we dont need ground guides with marker vest on

I use squadmates whenever I can, and I help them to reverse and travel inside areas with friendlies. Seems to work fine with vehicles that have no rear view. But then again, mirrors would be nice. However the engine
can't handle that right?

hmmm....

it could look give a very odd feeling when having a truck like rear view, but we might want to look at it.

the reason why some vehicles have a very limited view is down to the way DICE decided to make their models. most vehicles simply miss the half vehicle model when inside it (1p view/mesh of the model), so dont blame us

*bump*

Any chance of making the cars with mirrors on the sides get alternate camera views.
I'm thinking like the logy-trucks, maybe on both sides, so you have the regular one, and one to the left and right looking backwards.

After all, you took the effort to make a new view for the A10 on the promo-video, so I'm guessing its not that hard

I think this suggestion would enhance the driving expirience, and overall reality of the game. As you might have experienced in game, you cant get a good view behind the vehicle. An cam aimed at the rear of the vehicle, possebly inside the vehicle, at the place where the mirror is. In real life, you would also be able to just turn around, what maybe could be achieved with the "crouch" function in an vehicle. But that would get in the way of the "duck in vehicle" suggestion, so it shouldnt be used without a good thought.

An cam under the "c" key would do the job, IMO.

Yes, a million times yes. This has already been suggested and I have no idea why it wasn't done, so I'll support it again. (As for the US rules on guides, I think that's one of the things that go too far realism-wise. We don't get punished for having the finger on the left mouse button either. - Plus, just like we can perform trigger safety, we can also still use a guide if the situation allows it.)

I'd like to see the ability to turn 180 degrees both ways. If you wanted to turn all the way around in real life, you would switch your body. You don't sit perfectly still and attempt to turn your head behind you like an owl lol.

In other nations, we're competent enough to backup without daddy holding our hands...

In other nations you don't have a HMMVW with no rear window to look through.
