one thing i know is never build an FOB underfire as often you will die or enemy armour/air support will take it out in seconds.
imo good idea it make people think before building stuff and have dedicated builders in your squad

Did you know that in combat, it's mostly officers who carry handguns? Most enlisted don't. Notable exceptions are military police, and special operations forces.

I support this idea. Shovel in unarmed kit.

And to those that say "what if you get jumped while shoveling?"
Shouldn't you have left somebody to watch your back?

Well getting wiped out with your pants down must have been something you were willing to risk in order to save that 15s of shovel time.

Simple: drop kit where you are building. Press G for quick recovery. No muss, no fuss.

"People would steal the XXX kit while we shoveled."
So guess who should be providing that cover then?

And really, who would dig a DFP in full pack IRL? You would drop the pack on the ground wouldn't you?
