Yes to the first, but not completely right to the latter. Obviously we can't have full 8 km engagement radii on the Apaches, since they'd outrange the map, but I've played Kashan with 3 kilometers of View Distance on one of the worst systems in the PR community (probably second only to Octofail, which could not actually play FR on low with a higher than 15 FPS but could easily handle the increased VD), and the change from even 1000 to 1500-2000 makes the engagements far more realistic, seeing as terrain mapping tactics actually work and are more effective than hanging at the top of the flight ceiling.

Otherwise, why is it that so many suggestions are based off of the fact that "I got killed by a tactically and computedly superior war machine without realizing it and expect to not only be able to have tyhe knowledge of it's whereabouts but to either counter it effectively for game balance or render it completely useless within the game structure".

i dont think the suggestion works, i once was the spotter for BVR firing, and the other team hid, and they realised there being shot from BVR, so they spreasd our and looked for the spotter, and when they shot, the bullets kept raining, but not as accuritly.

its just a matter of teamwork XD
