This is the run of the mill Basrah, exactly the same.

I second the motion for Helos back on Basrah, its a classic map for tight helo insertion!

Lynx would be outstanding, like it used to be! Or LBs! (LB would be better, easy to kill, to keep the precious balance).

it looked fun.. i got to fly it 2 times scince its realise, and i wish it could be used more....

plus i still here sound bugs on alot of maps, with or without helos or armor... i think its fine to bring it back to basara XD

I want to see the overwhelming material superiority remain in Insurgency, hell, bring back the A10. Give them two.

Four Cobras? Sure, throw an Apache in there too in case a .50 gets to be a problem.

Leave the tanks in as well, no harm at all in having assets that for all intents and purposes are unkillable if used properly.


Just bring back hardcore civvie punishments so Insurgency is what it is in real life - a constant struggle to deploy minimum possible force to meet the objective, despite access to high intensity warfighting equipment designed for WWIII.

Currently the Lynx is only on Qinling, in 0.9 it will be on Lashkar Valley and Iron Ridge as well.

There should hopefully be co-op servers, but for normal insurgency mode there won't be helicopters on Basrah. Refer to the map overview dtacs posted.

I miss the helis so much is realy cool with the merlin had some pretty good evacs with it. I dont realy care for the sound bug it didnt always happen and when it did it only stayed for 5 mins and it was over.
