Default Add 2 more Helicopters to Ramiel and Karbala

Karbala Setup as is now.

2 Littlebirds with Hydras and mini guns.




Reccomendation for karbala :

2 Littlebirds with hydras and mini guns.

1 Transport littlebird.

1 Black hawk.

This Can be one Air support squad

1. Black hawk pilot.
2. Black hawk mini Gunner #1
3. Black hawk mini gunner #2
4. Transport Littlebird pilot.
5. Atack littlebird pilot.
6. Atack littlebird pilot.

Ramiel Setup as is now.

Reccomendation for Ramiel :

1 Black hawk.

2 Littlebirds with mini guns.

1 Apache helicopter.

This can be in One Air support squad. And they can communicate and cover eachother.

Air support squad

1.Blackhawk pilot.
2.Black hawk mini gunner.
3. Apache Pilot.
4. Apache gunner.
5. littlebird pilot.
6. littlebird pilot

Reasoning for Suggestion.

1. It would be super fun to form 1 whole squadron/squad of aircraft and crew.

2.As we all know the helicopters were downgraded in the last .86 patch. They are very weak to ground fire.

Solution to this problem: Add more helicopters

3.The Air support in this game should be a higher Priority than it is now. Most players shrug off the helicopters usually because there is only 2 in the air. If you were to bring this up to 4 helicopters on each of these maps it would make these 2 maps more Team work oriented and alot more fun.

Yeah, let's have more people whore air assets and waste more tickets by flying around unnecessarily, that's how we'll fix the problem.

No, I'd rather not see a full squad of infantry removed from the map for a few helicopters that are useless once the cache search begins anyway.

This. In fact that stupidly popular map Muttrah is pretty broken right now because of the excess of helicopters on the US side. There's just people idling in them, and the littlebirds pretty much crash right away anyways.

There just needs to be 2 transport Hueys with the cobra spawning in later. Not 3 Hueys and atk huey and LBs. That's ridiculous.

32 players on the US team right ?

6 in Air support squad

6 Infantry squad

6 Infantry squad

6 Infantry squad

3 man sniper/marksman squad.

4 in Armor Squad

1 as Commander of the elite US forces

Edited for Celstial the human calculator.






If you have the whole team working as 1 unit in the battlefield , these assets can be put to very good use.

If you have the whole team out doing there own thing. ( Every squad is in a different location) These assets will be wasted and it will suck ass man.

I honestly dont think this would be any good at all. I'd say remove thoose hydra/minigun littlebirds from the game. Adding all theese assets will result in not one full air squadron, but 3 squads; LB transport, Atk LB and Blackhawk squad, with 6 people in each squad bitching about who gets what.

Most insurgency games, no, most games with alot of chopper spawns, usually result in the side with all the choppers losing. Because of the choppers. If its the pilot or the rubbish systems is up for debate I suppose, I just cant see how this would benefit anything but the asset whores who should go to a training server and knock them self out.

Yet the best attempt to use air power have been Op. Barracuda with the load of hueys, and lately jabal aswell. Thing is, in this game, whereever there is something that can fly, there is things that will take all the flying things down in few seconds - everywhere. The only part about the game that really concerns me is the flying assets vs. teamwork problematics. Everyone says that its the people flying the things, but more so often I get it confirmed that its not, its the ones who's not flying

It could be done, but in that case there should be no respawning of any of the helicopters if you ask me.

true. i'd like to see maybe more blackhawks in ramiel and stuff but they get chewed up by technicals.

I think this suggesting is pretty much just trying to implement something cool

I'd love to give you a rundown on assets and player allocation, but I don't know vehicles for Ramiel/Karbala as it is, so I will point out these things:

(1) There's no commander
(2) You have 34 players if there is 6 in the armor squad
(3) Why do you have 4 people in a sniper squad
(4) You still have 6 people in the Air Support squad doing absolutely jack-squat, or getting shot by technicals as the team is searching for caches and doesn't need air support.

I see air assests as waste a lot of the time. I've called for airstrikes so many times on Muttrah, Kashan, or any map that has an aircraft with laser guided weapons, and got told that the area was too hot, or that they weren't receiving my laser mark as I had the target painted. Personally, I find few pilots and/or gunners that have been much help. More aircraft on a map? No thanks, just keep those players from wasting time on the ground in aircraft, and make them pick up a rifle and do some fighting.

Forget asset wastage, imagine if the apache pilots were decent and they stayed alive, an apache on Ramiel would be absolutely REDICULOUS, a hellfire would destroy a cache and the 30mm...forget about it.

Plus it would go out of bounds quite a bit due to the size of the city being quite small (in comparion with apache speed)

Sheath no sword;
Lower no shield;
Lack no vigilance.
