This talk about realistic scenario is ridiculous and should end now. PR has no storyline except for the tournament. Discuss about assets and gameplay.

I think Bluefor is an acronym for US forces and forces allied to US, so MEC would not be a bluefor. The insurgents on this map could be called bluefor I guess if they are backed by US like the fighters in Afghanistan were.

If you are talking about a good guy status, it is of course self-evident that every faction thinks of themselves as good guys. Iraq is a real life example with US troops "freeing the iraqi people", insurgents "kicking out the foreign invaders" etc. A group of people usually glorifies themselves and projects bad qualities on the opposition. Think of a football teams that always accuse the opposition of playing dirty but never admits their own faults.

its not a question of bluefor opfor, its a question of team1 team2.
