One of element that makes us feel unreal when playing this mod is characters moving speed either its you or the enemy that you are trying to shoot.
1. Current walking speed while holding weapon at hip is more like jogging. Make this normal walking speed as slow as current walking speed while aiming a rifle. 2. It is strange that character moves faster when Crouching than standing while aiming rifle. I suggest to change this to be realistic. Stand- Moving/Moving while not aiming/Aiming = Current walk speed while aiming and moving while standing. All of this three action will occur with same speed. Crouch- Moving/Moving while not aiming/Aiming = Slower than Standing position speed. All of this three action will occur with same speed. Prone- No change. If you can disable ability to aim/shoot while prone and moving. Sprint- No change. Please remove sprint bar penalty when Jumping. No dicrease in sprint bar for Jumping. By making this change you will no longer see player jogging across map. This will increase roll in APC. Changing normal walking speed will make character movenment seems much more real. |

I like your idea
I never realy knowdessed the how fast i am walking when i aim in crouch position because you cant shoot affectivly while moving due to the deviation... walking and aiming should definatly be more of a walking speed since you Are ...walking and aiming.. Walking and Aiming already makes your deviation aiming Horrrible so there isnt any real need to be walking slow in the first place :P aha... I am not sure if it is going to be possible to fix the prone aiming and shooting problem :S buut hey wwhat ever haha... it would be nice to copy the movment speeds and get idea from ... ( AA Americas army ) i think they got the whole aiming shooting and deviation deal down to a science. |

actually u move the same speed. It looks different because the gun movement is faster

IIRC they cant fix the ability to move faster whistle crouched and aimed in because of some stuff about the speed being slowed for the "walking" (jogging) but not being able to be change the crouched speed so it will be faster... or something like that.

The first and highest priority that I want to point out in this suggestion is to slow down the current jogging pace down to something close to current walking speed while standing and aiming rifle. This ability to light jog all the time makes character appear unreal, shooting walking enemy harder, and players rely less on APC to move around and use APC more as IFV.

AFAIK you move faster while aiming down the sights while crouching because you have a better center of gravity/more balance. Therefore, in paintball at least, aiming while crouching (semi-crouching if you may, which is currently depicted in the game) is faster (and more precise) than aiming while standing.
I'm actually ok with the normal speed ("Jogging"). I really like it actually. And the jump penalty is a measure agains bunny hopping. And jumping cannot be taken out of the game due to some statics and terrains needed to jump over, ex. Fallujah West pathwalks. |

do you really want to slow walking speed down to how fast you are when aiming and standing? Do you have any idea how annoying that would be? I want you to hop on asad khal or some other map like that and try and play a round only aiming down iron sights.

By the time you get there you don't want to walk back to main base. This game is about reality. When walking get annoying as real life, player will start to appreciate not being shot and having transportation (AKA APC) as much as real life. This will also encourage player to be not get killed, increasing players "carefull-ness" and actually clearing area before sprinting into not secured sector. This combined with rally point change will almost certainly guarantee to change players behavior from current "I don't care I'l just respawn". | |

Improving on this, I think it would be a great feeling if while sprinting the camera shakes not too far from the "crosshair" in a general triangle shape.
