I'm justified AND miserable.

I said stupid alot because I think it is stupid - all you have to do is think about what uber realism would really do to gameplay (PR is supposed to be a blend of the two - it's not a military simulation, it's a Reality Mod) and alot of these suggestions go straight down the drain. Most players do not want to be frustrated by the game they play - it's already annoying enough when you fall off a wall and bleed to death.

I know the tent has been suggested before, which is why I brought it up as a sidenote. I happen to like encouraging new thoughts. That's what suggestions and being creative is all about.

Wether or not something is possible, that isn't an issue when you are suggesting something. That comes into play when the suggestion moves on but until then the discussion can spawn something interesting?

From your viewpoint, maybe every single thing has been suggested but from the OP's POV, he may have searched and checked the ASS and found nothing.

Cut some slack to the creative streak, Herbiie. Even though a lot of your points are good and I agree with many of them, relax...

while i belive these suggestions would be practicable in a tournament with only skilled participators all having a strong sense of military-like gameplay, they would definately kill public play.
Just imagine what kind of damage lone wolfs, of which there are still way to many out there, would be able to inflict on a squad trying to act as a cohesive element.
If those 6 ppl are forced to withdraw to a medic tent or even worse back to base, just because 2lonewolfing retard was able to hit one of them badly, there would be no advancing at all, unless the squad decides to split up, having the wounded guys moving to the medical object alone, be it a tent or whatever, while moving on diminished to make at least some progress.

I must say that I agree with Herbiie. The game is frustrating enough as it is.

Yes it would get rid of n00bs, but it might also get rid of some of our loyal player base. And we probably would get any new recruits.

I brought a friend in to play with me when we were in .7. He said he didn't like have to ask for a kit, and he didn't like it when he didn't know where he was getting hit from.

So, please no more convoluted, unnecessarily complicated suggestions, please.

Please don't look up any of my posts, I am sure there are a few that were just awful in this same sense.

But thank you for throwing it out there, even though we dont show it, we are truly thankful for this think tank of ours. You just crossed one off the list, which is still an excellent thing, because you have to dig out a great deal of unwanted crap before you get to the gems. Or in the case of Ideas, that one gem.

I don't know what the deal is with the medic bag healing to a certain %, and I hate searching when the OP should have done it himself. Someone please lock this.

2.) Don't presume; my search didn't turn up much on the subject; at least nothing in great depth.

At the very least I've taken the time and effort to appropriately construct a well laid out reasonable proposal, find some creativity and actually be bothered to put it up for all to see and discuss, which is more than can be said for the majority of the crap-wading 'FASTROP PLZ' threads out there.

Further to that I've followed the thread with interest and appropriately counter-debated and appreciated the further input of others.

The least you could do is appreciate the creativity as the poster above you has acknowledged, and say thanks but no thanks, instead of being downright rude, and were I a less 'embedded' member of the PR community, potentially frighten others away from making suggestions in the future.

Grow up, and learn to voice your opinions to fellow members of the community in such a way that doesn't make you seem like a complete killjoy.

Didn't suggest this myself to prevent any exploitation; the ammo resupply dump (vehicle repair station) would be nearby, anyway. Afterall it's a medic station, not an ammo store.

Again I think the transport element is important; it would act as any other vehicle in which you're physically transported to base. If you get blown up, you're dead.

well what i meant in real life if your wounded you would be taken out for the duration of the battle I mean it takes months for a person to heal from a bullet wound ya know
