ye I was thinking that but that would just encourage more pilots to simply "go down with the ship" (or aircraft in this case ) instead of bailing out and attempting to return to base, so I was thinking maybe more have the spawn time for anyone with the pilot kit really high instead, which would really encourage a pilot to stay alive

What a fool! When you're a downed Pilot behind enemy lines (especially with mumble on insurgency) it's sooo fun! Also he just lost his team another ticket, gj him.

Anywho, the suicide button is needed for when you get stuck in some crappy place (E.g. the wells: They has fallen in teh well! Oh noes! - Xfire Video yeah ok they don't suicide, but they would of )

I think they way to settle this is to make it if you suicide you lose 2 tickets, instead of 1. Though usually it isn't much of an issue, people generally try to make their way back (especially if they just lost their team 5 tickets through losing a heli) so they don't lose more tickets.

Upping the time limit would be great. Then throw that punihsment on civi killers in the future.

Well If I remember right " I have not played the mod in a long time" but dieing to a Molov counts as a suicide "or atlest it did last time I played" this would just make insurgent mode even more unfair.

Trust me, the molotov suicide thing is the last issue you have to worry about with insurgency mode being 'unfair', the discrepancy between the spawning models (firebase vs dogbox) makes it quite a bit harder for the US team now, in my opinion. That being said, if there's a squad dedicated to keeping 6 firebases up at all times, it still works reasonably well. *

Insurgency is certainly difficult for the Bluforce, but then again I believe that's quite similar to RL

I've suggested longer spawntimes when suiciding when downed...

Anyway, yeah, the option would bo to extend it to 5 minutes or something...

and sirius, you are right at all, and you can still 'sucide you self' by desconecting the game,

so it will still possible, but of course, less likily to happens, since you may lose you place to play the game. right?
