Yes. The insurgent sniper should be enhanced. Now he is virtually defenseless and given the general lack of insurgent medical care, he will be quickly killed if he makes a single mistake.
The solution is 1. make insurgent sniper kits available in greater numbers, like say 3, in addition to 3 SVDs. Whereas now insurgent snipers and marksmen are an oddity, insurgents often use snipers IRL, and snipers are not super soldiers of any kind in PR. From my experience, they're often quite useless. 1 sniper kit would be available at both caches, while 1 would be available at the main. The SVDs would be available at main only. OR. Another and seperate solution is the one that the thread started laid out. Give the insurgent sniper 3 patches, like the insurgent cell leader, and a pistol. The rarity of the sniper kit wouldn't make this arrengement overpowered. And also, who cares about the accompanying spotter dogma? It's a dogma. Especially in this case when the snipers in question are paramilitary and do not follow conventional military doctrines. |

If the insurgent sniper kit was on a timed respawn (i.e 10+ minutes) i would agree but as soon as you die, minute later its at base again. A field dressing would make sense though too, as your normally not near a civi.

More sniper rifles would make sence, in the way that they are used alot in RL.

ACCTUALY the Lee is pwng. thats all i gotta say, i killed so many ppl with it, you just gotta know how to use it. and the SVD aint bad I got kills with it too.

i think ins snipers already have a better advantage with the fact that they are defending. if they get hit it makes you run and find healing. which adds to the hit and run feel.

Adde kalashnikov-47/74 with svd scope instead of RPK´s on each cache. And the problem is solved + it geting a little closer to reality.
