This is a new brand new Iron sings for Mediun Ranged targets.
Insteand of having only you rifle in one sloot, you will have 2 sloots just like Automatic rifleman Kits. In the frist sloot, all will by just like it is. But in 4 one, you will have the Weopow MUCH MUCH MORE CLOSER, and litle ZOON do the streghnt the carather do in his eyes, also less ARC of vision, since his weilding the rifle whictout both eyes open, but also lost the benefits of Iron Sings, such waling faster that ACOG M4, or put a Aiming mod faster. he will have all problems that a Scoped rifle, but this only will be improvisory thing for mediun targuets. this do not give more precision, it's just a matter of AIMING THE RIFLE, whicht ALL FOCUS, and ALL EYE STREGH, things that if you what to be decent in game you have to do, whicht you own EYES of real life, and OWN focus in the AIM of rifle. it's is funny, but after alot of times it's used, you start getted prety weak. of EYE. maybe do this shotting MOD just like Battlefield 2 iron sings aim, in 4 sloot, that is a VERY CLOSE aim whicht the rifle, and have a little zoon. to deal in mediun ranged targuets. in balace also put Scoped rifles, a 4 sloot that comes whicht a improvisory Aim for close quarter combats, that the soldir aim JUST LIKE AR KITS whicth the frist aim MOD, (3 sloot) |

so it would be like ArmA has it except we have to use a second weapon slot?
I agree about the scoped rifles, not sure about the ironsights. |

the problem is , this takes up a slot . so some kits will lose stuff like grenades or the Thermite grenades.
most iron sights do have two sight pictures. a "battle sight" and a flip up "Longer range" sight which has a smaller sight picture for long range. this is featured on AR-15 type weapons and british SA80. G3 has a H&K version as well. |

ah... i was really confused when i saw the name of this thread... figured it had to do about singing metal (black/death metal)
I suggest (as done before) that you have a slight zoom, 1.5 or something like that and there will be no use for a second slot being used. |

As much as I want zoom in ironsighted weapons during a firefight when I just can't get a clear shot theres the reason why we have iron sights on some weapons. When it comes to most of the PR factions, a weapon will have iron sights because in real life a optic would make the gun too bulky to carry, AND also the fact that most ironsight rifles in the mod are complemented with another weapon for another purpose. I.E. Heavy Anti-Tank weapons, Medic packs, Mines/C4. They have iron sights to remind them of their purpose in their squad. I also understand you ask for Zoomed in ironsights to be in another slot, but that takes up and takes the place of another piece of equipment.
Sorta a resuggestion as well as there a few older suggestion threads about adding zoom to iron sights. |

well this was discussed over and over and over and over again.
Being focused does help some, but does not zoom targets... Also, you shouldn't get "closer" to the ironsights because the recoil my hurt your eyes... which shouldn't be good. |

well like i said, you dont need to be closer to sight IRL because most have different iron sight versions on it, ie with a flip down/up like AR-15's and SA80s or like g3.

When gazz says AR-15 he is meaning the M4/M16 just he is using the civilian name (i think dont quote me) of it.
