Add a live marker for supply drops

hi, i was wondering if it is possible to add a live marker to supply drops, to know exactly where they are needed.

I suggest a system like laser system, because you can see lasers when you are pilot, maybe a second laser with a different model that indicates "Supply drop needed", or also a commander made marker, like the actual laser for "Need fire support"

thats what the smoke is for imo, though I understand those of you with your effects detail on lower might have trouble seeing it.

yeah. smoke is the solution. i nearly always do it and be it only for FX

It's pure epicness to bring in a helo to an LZ using smoke. It's just super cool, everyone should do it.

But the smoke also gives your position to the enemy...

consider it as a GPS Marker

Is that a problem? You shouldn't be requesting supplies in view of the enemy, so if the enemy sees the smoke they will see the supply drop...

Use the SL colored smoke. They're there for a reason.

Don't want the enemy to know your position? Don't call for a supply drop then.
