Default Disabling IEDs

Since the comabat egineer kit is not used alot and specially on insurgency can we make it able to us the wrench to disable IEDS and C4. As in insurgency IEDs are all over the place so can it would be realistic if we can disable it and maybe also make it defuse the bomb on the bomb cars.

You want to go and start fiddling with wires on a live explosive without any kind of protection from the blast wave if it goes off?

Go try it IRL, then tell us how it went if you come back...



Its a pretty horrible idea, really.

It'd probably be better just to let the wrench remove mines like it is now. Most, if not all, IED's are watched by the people who put them down as to know when to detonate. If they see a guy come over to them and see that he can remove them, they'll just detonate and then you have a combat engineers body traveling 5000 MPH away from the blast.
