No spawnable officer kit. Beta included.
I quickly checked if this is already suggested, but if this is please delete. I have bunch of resons why. Before I let all come out comments please. You can have my reasons now: RP whoring I am not fan of current RP system. Mostly because it is way too powerful tool. When officer could not spawn at rally it would make RP:s significantly weaker asset. Importance of officer becomes higher what will lead better team playing. Supplyline importance Makes teams doing more supply crate deliverys for FOB and keep entire supply trucks/chopper troops busy because spawning SL:s have to request officer kit every time after spawn (Crate drop reguest near RP forexample). In other hand it would really hurt when enemy has destroyed your team crates or deny supplying. Makes SL killing rewarding/important After killing enemy SL your squad can have moment of comfort that enemy wont "pop out from nowhere" too soon. No endless small guerilla fights at jungle maps, etc... At least not so easily. It is damn annoing when playing operation barracuda and there are no clear "battlelines". Every step you make can be your last. Literally enemy can be anywhere, which is cool sometimes not alltimes. Thats all for now folks. I will give my reasoning later why beta version should not have spawnable officers eighter. EDIT2 Now I see why Iam not getting much support. Real issue what is bugging peoples is that they like to have officer kit when ever they spawn not the fix itself. I have founded solution for this. We need 2 different type officer kits what I call, Officet1 and Officer2 kit. definitions Officer1: Spawnable, but whitout ability to set RP, FOB or anything else "construction". Officer2: Not spawnable. Only SL can request this kit. This kit is same as current Officer kit. EDIT3 At last, here is my thoughts why beta could work better WHIT spawnable officer who does not know how to build. "More cooks in the kitchen badder the soup" Splitting officer kit will make squads work more organized. Those who have real officer kit take responsibility for the construction of FOB. What i have seen crate(s) wont remain long near FOB. This matter forces builder SL to start operation at main base. Benefits are better planning and placing for FOB + some realism aspect increase. After long thinking anything else big things does not come across my mind. Supply crates gains a small bit more value, squad should protect builder officer when they are on mission. Afterall really not anything big improve. |

not a good idea, since it already has it that you have to be in a squad and be the lead in the squad, a leaders equipment is a standard in any military, he would always have his assigned kit.

NO
officers should always be with their troops, what would be the advantage of a SL then? i personally would not like to lead squads if every time i had to spawn at main or a FB to get a kit. I cant really think of any good reason to remove it, except squads will probably always start from the main when they die, which is a little more realistic than spawning in the field, but there are also arguments against this, like game play balance, and spawning closer to the front line simulates having a larger force |

So the main point of removing the O kit is to make squads respawn at main? why didnt you suggest that in the first place

If your a sqd leader why should you have to go and get a kit?? just spawn in with it, cuts down on the BS, you have your roll to play and should only have a SL kit, let the lowe enlisted have to kit up. lol

What you an your squad can do is reqroup at main/FOB or keep attacking against enemy regardless that SL uses rifleman kit. You have perhaps 1-2 spawns before enemy patrol cleans RP away when your squad have failed to take out enemy. Nobodys forcing SL (or any squad member) to spawn main/FOB if there is no crate near by RP. It seems that you dont want to "try" understand what this suggestion is all about.
