hey guys, so i was just reading some threads about the medic system and how snipers have a hard time shooting people and moving on to the next target before the guy gets revived. then i remembered reading something in our skools medical kit (for sport sessions) about epiens.
the part that interests me is how to apply one. 1. pop cap off needle end 2. inject into skin and put pressure till you hear a click 3. HOLD FOR 10 SECONDS! 4. remove without touching anything else with the tip and dispose of appropriately so wat if we could add a delay on the effect of the epien. it'ld remove some of the spamyness of the epien and put more pressure on the point of clearing the area first otherwise your medic has a bigger chance of dieing. this would help snipers and normal soldiers think more tactical. i know that snipers are suposed to shoot the medic first, but in some cases it isn't possible when the target needs to go down, fast. and i also know that the medic system isn't realistic but this might help improve the gameplay. thoughts? |

A couple of seconds pause would actually benefit gameplay hugely imo. Force the medics to spend a couple more seconds next to fallen comrades, rather than heal and scoot tactics.

Sounds like a good suggestion. I have been thinking about something like that myself, just to get the ninja revives reduced.
Adding ultra slow walk speed while equipping the epipen or the CPR hands would also help imho. |

Medic already has a hard enough time as it is. I support the epipen use delay, but not this, this sounds stupid. | |

Epinephrine is used in combat. Just not like it is in game, there are a lot more factors that are taken into account before using an epipen. It is a lot more realistic than paddles though.
I think a wait on the revive would benefit game play. Or making the revived soldier immobilized for a short time after revival. An other option would be to make them blind until they get enough healing. |

^ The epipen use delay would be more a benefit to gameplay than restricting player movement in combat.

Great idea, medics often use the ninja revive of running towards the fallen comrade, prone jumping down and stab them with the pen and then run to cover. A ten second delay would force the squad to control the situation before attempting any revives. Im not sure if its doable though, engine wise..
